Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Sophia knowledge management platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Volantis, Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

Use of the Service

Permitted Use

You may use Sophia for legitimate business purposes including:

• Managing and organizing your organization's knowledge
• Collaborating with team members on documents and projects
• Using AI-powered features for content analysis and insights
• Integrating with other business tools and platforms

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purposes or activities
• Upload malicious software, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
• Use the Service to compete with or harm our business

User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Safeguarding your password and account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date account information

Content and Data

Your Content

You retain all rights to content you upload to Sophia. By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and process your content to provide the Service
• Use AI and machine learning to enhance your experience
• Create backups and ensure data availability
• Share content within your organization as you direct

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, you acknowledge that no system is completely secure, and you use the Service at your own risk.

Payment Terms

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We may change our pricing with 30 days' notice
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account
• You are responsible for all taxes associated with your use of the Service

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:

• Perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice
• Experience unexpected downtime due to technical issues
• Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
• Update our systems to improve security and performance

Intellectual Property

The Sophia platform, including its software, design, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws. We retain all rights to:

• The Sophia software and platform technology
• Our trademarks, logos, and brand materials
• Documentation, tutorials, and educational content
• AI models and algorithms used in our Service

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Volantis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business interruption.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination:

• Your access to the Service will be immediately suspended
• You may export your data for 30 days after termination
• We may delete your data after the export period
• Unpaid fees remain due and payable
